Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by My Father in heaven." Matthew 18:19

The words of Jesus in Matthew 18:19 are to be taken literally. When any two agree in prayer, God will answer. If Two Agree shows this principle being put into action. As the couple agrees in prayer, the angel behind them rends the sky making way for God’s blessing into their lives. In studying the Scripture further, it is clear that the prayer of two or more, according to God's will, will be honored. The responsibility is on us to be right in the center of God's perfect will asking what we know He desires in our situation. Then we are assured that His answer is an absolute yes!

ARTIST NOTE: This painting is one born from experience. My wife and I, like many others, have faced our share of the valleys of life. While there, sparks of hope that kept us from despair would well up in our hearts. Our first reaction would be to beg God for the employment of our idea of what He should do. What we've learned though is to check to see if God wants things done that way. That's why Scripture was written. Once convinced that He does, we boldly employ Matthew 18:19. Knowing that we are standing on solid ground, we ask in confidence, sometimes with our hands physically on this passage, with the ending of Jesus' own powerful prayer…"not my will, but Thine be done."
