Someone once wisely observed that the birth of a child is a sign that God has not yet given up on the human race. What most of us consider a precious addition to our lives is literally called a “gift” from God in the Bible (Psalm 127:3). To a society where the unborn are casually discarded, God Himself provided His most precious gift in the form of a child. The bond between mother and child is a special one and A Gift From God depicts the reality that our children really are a miracle from God entrusted into our earthly care for but a short while.

That first meeting between mother and child is magical, yet there will be a day when they will meet on another shore at another time, if they choose to serve the Lord here and now. I am convinced there is something we can take to Heaven with us. Our children.
